What a Sunday! We went to Sloughhouse to pick up some pumpkins. The kids were ready to buy the whole pumpkin patch. There was a petting zoo with a llama, a poney and its baby, goats, rabbit etc...The kids were afraid of the llama and did not want to go in and pet the animals.
We bought some fresh vegetables, wasabi peanuts (my favorite!) and the sweetest strawberries ever! Kilian wanted to pick up one of everything displayed!
Then we stopped by to get some craft supplies and went home.
After lunch Aymeric and Kilian started their Halloween crafts: Aymeric chose to build a cemetery scene and Kilian a pirate ship. We're working on the cemetery but it will take a couple days to complete.
Later we made some cookies. The boys always fight over who gets to break the eggs, stir etc...It was pure chaos and the batter was flying so I sent them out of the kitchen! Aymeric came back to cut out his cookies. We made skulls, bats, pumpkins, cats, witches, owls etc...Before dinner Aymeric and Kilian decorated their cookies (or ...rather...ate the icing and sprinkles)! Then of course, they had to eat them...but we waited until after dinner...I actually managed to make them eat a carrot while they worked on their decorations. They were getting hungry...so it worked!
The boys are exhausted! They had a busy weekend and lots of fun!
