Library!

On Tuesday, there was a presentation at the Orangevale Library about bees: Uncle Jer' s traveling Bee show. Aymeric loved it. Kilian could not sit still and quiet. Aymeric stayed with Michael until the end, while I walked home with Kilian. Kilian walks so slow...and he stops everywhere...he has to pick up and 'kiss and hug' snails, pick up rocks, dried up worms, twigs etc...We did manage to go home but I did not have keys and had to go through the guest room's window to get into the house and let Kilian in (he was waiting in the backyard).

At the library, Michael got Aymeric his very own library card. Aymeric signed his card and was very proud. He came home with one book on dinosaur. Kilian was jealous! He, too, wants a library card!

On Wednesday, we were supposed to go to Brad's wedding in Tahoe but Michael was afraid we would be stuck because of the snow and I really did not want to sit with the kids in the car for over 5 hours. Kilian does not do well on trips if they are longer than 20 minutes!! And..he can cry for over 2 hours in a row, which drives me insane!

So...we did another trip to the library. Aymeric played on the computer, used the LeapPad and read books quietly. Kilian ran around and screamed...I got Kilian his library card and then Michael took him home! Aymeric and I checked out a bunch of books and walked home with our treasure! We read two of the books before bed! Aymeric just LOVES the library!! Not only does he get to discover new books but he can use the equipment and there are all those great shows and events!

For lunch, we went to Elephant Bar. Aymeric was given a reward certificate (free kid lunch) by Miss Tawnie (daycare). He could not wait to go!

Today, the kids are in daycare. I prepared their Easter Baskets. Merci Mamie et Papy pour le colis!! Les chocolats et livres sont dans les 'paniers de Paques' des enfants! Tomorrow, the kids have a special 'Spring Celebration' lunch. I will bring a fruit salad and take the kids home after lunch. We're going to dye eggs tomorrow afternoon!!
