I took the boys to the Orangevale Parade this morning. We baked on the sidewalk! Kilian does not like the sun and the heat and he was one GROUCHY kid! Aymeric did not care, he was too busy picking up the free candies! Lilly-Marie was in the parade with her girl scout troop.
We came home to a cool house. The kids binged on candies, played legos and playdoh.
Later we went to the library and got a few new books. Then I went to the gym and the kids stayed in the gym daycare. They love it!! It has an indoor slide, a small play kitchen, legos, activity centers, a media room, puzzles etc...the boys enjoy it a lot! They also love the gym's pool but there were too many people and it was too hot and sunny!
We also did some shopping. The kids begged for ice cream and I just could not say no..it's ice cream weather! We came home, read our new library books, practice writing letters, built more Lego things and once there was enough shade in the backyard, the kids rode their bikes outside.
They are WORN OUT and fell asleep right away.
Michael is having lots of fun in Las Vegas. He left on Friday and will come home on Monday. Sadly, the kids don't miss him! They got to sleep in my bed last night and they'd like to do that every night! I can't sleep with them..they move too much! Aymeric talks, rolls of the bed; Kilian coughs and turns upside down...it was a rough night for me!
Tomorrow is another BUSY day and it should be even HOTTER!
