Pumpkin Hill!

Yummy home made pear (from the backyard!) tarts!

Again, Michael was working this Saturday so the boys and I had our usual Saturday breakfast at the Donut Spot. Aymeric liked my donut more than his...so he ate mine and..his as well. Kilian gave me half of his! They always pick different ones but they don't always like them!

We finished our Halloween preparation with a quick trip to Target. We got a candy bowl and...bags and bags of treats! We are ready! Back home, we washed the windows in and out and put all our window decorations on. We have a house full of bats, spiders, skulls etc...


The weather was very nice last night, so we went to Pumpkin Hill, a pumpkin patch on Kenneth, nearby our house.
It was great. There was a corn maze, a hay pyramid, 2 bouncy houses and a bouncy slide, hay rides, petting zoo...etc
First we took a look at the animals: bunnies, a goose, ducks, a llama, baby goats etc...then the kids aimed straight for the hay pyramid! They loved it. Aymeric tried the rope swing but found it a bit scary. Kilian hopped off it before he could even swing! Then they went to the bouncy houses and jumped and jumped...until it was not fun anymore!
We walked to the pumpkin fields and wandered around. The kids loved the tall grass and played hide and seek in it.
The kids were not happy to leave but the place closes at dusk and...well...it was time to go!!

Today Uncle Mike and Michael are going to paint the garage. It's only primer today. They should start painting the house in two weeks...depending on the weather! The rain is on its way, lots of it...planned for Monday night.
