It all started with Kilian and Michael getting sick over a week ago. Michael had a two day cold; Kilian's lasted a bit longer. Then I came down with it and I am dragging it out! No sleep, can't breathe, chapped nose, sore throat, cough...the fun never ends!
Michael's been very nice and taking over the household duties so I can rest.
He took Brice, Denise, Yaminiz and the boys downtown yesterday. They went to the Train Museum and walked around Old Sac. I guess it was pretty cold and Kilian was pretty tired...he actually fell asleep on his hamburger but there's no picture to prove it!! I'd love to have seen it myself!
The kids came home with a bag of candy and Yaminiz got a kite!
As we were about to have dinner, Aymeric started to complain that he was very cold. He felt burning hot though! We took his temperature (101) and bundled him up. He stayed on the couch while we ate. He said his throat hurt. He looked really pale.
Poor Aymeric barely made it through our evening ritual (3 stories before bedtime). He crawled into bed after the first book. The adults stayed up late playing the new Wii sports games we got for Christmas and around 1:00 am, little Aymeric walked out of his room and threw up all over the floor. He's been throwing up every two hours since then. Michael's sleeping on the couch while I stay next to Aymeric, ready to pounce and catch him on time before he throws up all over my bed! It's been so much fun!! Now I am dreading the inevitable: who is next on the list??
What a Christmas!! What a nice, relaxing vacation!! I am going to need another week off!!
