Backyard camp out!

Aymeric has been asking for a full week to spend the night out in the backyard. He has asked every single day, several times a day, when he would finally be allowed to set up his camp! He has driven me nuts for 5 days...the day has finally come and until the end, he begged and begged...the camping was simplified: no tent (it's HOT) but the boys still managed to make it a long process: blankets, stuffed animals, doudous, clothes, snacks, water....it all had to be packed and prepared...even if it's just to go camp 6 feet away from the house!

I get to stay in the air conditioned house...with the baby monitor on...Thank you Zoe for rescuing me from a night of backyard camping! I just DON'T and WON'T EVER like camping!

PS: Zoe had a perfect day today! After a week of lots of crying and missed naps, she finally found her happy self again! She slept in until 9:15 am...then enjoyed her first time at Anne Laure's house, where she took a nap. Back home, she had lots of fun play time and took two more full naps before settling down for the night by 9:20 pm! She's been all smiles and giggle when awake...a truly perfect day with little crying, plenty of sleep and plenty of fun!
