Ah!! The laundry room!! The Nursery!! Well...not quite yet! But progress was made today! Dustin, the neighbor, came over to help Michael set up the plumbing to transfer the laundry room into the garage. It should be finished next weekend, which means more work can be done in the 'former' laundry room (cable needs to be moved, furniture/shelves removed, floors refinished, painting etc...). Michael had to go under the house to hook up the existing plumbing and extend it to the garage. Aymeric, who is afraid of going in his room by himself or in the bathroom at the end of the hallway, was ecstatic when his dad told him that, yes, he could go under the house too if he wanted to.
So, Aymeric went to get pants, long sleeve shirts, gloves and a hat and ventured underneath the house! At first, he looked at the entrance and hesitated. He gave himself a pep talk: 'I can do this, I just need to be brave'. And...he went and joined his dad.
Kilian was VERY jealous and had a tantrum because he was scared (black widows, nails...) but in the end, he went with Aymeric!
The boys came out all dirty: dust, mud and a musty smell! They were VERY PROUD of themselves.
