Today ALL the kids woke up early! Everyone was up by 6:30. Michael was not home, he spent the night at Jeremy's (a dad's night out!) but he had told the kids they would go to Fairy Tale Town so they were anxiously waiting to go!
In the end, the kids did not go to Fairy Tale Town. They went to John's Incredible Pizza instead. According to Michael, they had TONS of fun. According to Aymeric it was 'poopy' (he really wanted to go to Fairy Tale Town and we heard about it all day!). There was a power outage, so the fun ended sooner than expected!
Michael took the boys and ZOE too! She did very well, if you don't count the poop incident. As soon as Michael got to the place, Zoe pooped and it went everywhere, up her back, down her legs...I am glad I had packed extra clothes!
While they were gone, I caught up on cleaning...I have not cleaned in like a month. We managed to keep the house in decent conditions with minimum cleaning but the clutter is becoming too much and well..it had to be done. So, I had about 3 hours and I cleared and cleaned up all but the bedrooms (which are not bad anyway!).
Next week is going to be a very busy week. I have 21 students to visit, staff meetings, and birthday parties both Saturday and Sunday so I really wanted to pick up the house before it got any worse. Off course, as soon as the kids came home it looked like nothing had been done and Aymeric even said it looked 'kind of dirty'!!
The best event of the day was the completion of the laundry in the garage. Dustin came over around 9:00 and by 2:00 pm, all was done. It's all connected, working properly and the dry wall has been replaced! Project DONE! (Plenty more to go...)
Tomorrow we're attending Trinity's birthday party. It's at Miller Park...I am sure the kids will have a great time.
