Noel

Well, Santa Claus came!! And he left lots of presents under the tree.
Christmas Eve started with a visit to Kaiser. Zoe had a horrible sleepless night so I decided that something must be wrong with her and ...indeed...ear infection again (or should I say still?? It's the same ear as before which leads me to believe she never was any better). So we spent over an hour at Kaiser and came home with antibiotics and Culturelle. The doctor wants her to try Culturelle because of all the harsh antibiotics and painkillers she has been taking in less than two months.

Poor Zoe was exhausted! She took a two hour a nap on her dad while I cleaned the house and got ready for our Christmas Eve party. Luckily, Grandma had picked up the boys for the day so the house was quiet!

The party was fun. Everyone enjoyed the food. The boys played with the Boyd girls. Zoe slept on Uncle Chad. Baby Evan played around...The boys watched a movie (the Iron Giant). Zoe by then has slept so much that she was ready to party...as we were all winding down!
We managed to get the boys in bed by 10:00 and Zoe by 11:30.

Santa dropped by as we slept and left TONS of presents. At 7:00 this morning, we started the unwrapping! The hit was the Tomica set from Tonton Brice and the small Legos...I had the immense pleasure of spending pretty much all my day assembling the sets for the kids. They don't have the skills and patience required to follow the booklet of directions (it was a very long process for the Legos, the directions were contained in two booklets, not just one!).

Most of the day was spent playing with the kids and breaking up fights between the kids. It was a good day overall but it was also a very straining day!! And I am glad it's over and all the kids are in bed!

Michael spoiled me to death and I am forever grateful! Zoe had no clue it was any different day but she did enjoy a few of her new toys!
