Spring Break, an overview!

Spring break was BUSY!!

Zoe attended her daycare every day this week so I could spend time with the boys!
On Monday, a former student dropped by. She graduated four years ago. She came and presented us with her new business venture (Scentsy, wickless candles). It was fun to see her again and the kids enjoyed smelling all the nice scents!

Crazy egg nest!

Lava Cake

On Tuesday, we went to enroll Kilian at the Discovery Club and visited the notary public to get Zoe's birth certificate.

On Wednesday, Aymeric had a dentist appointment. He got more sealant on a couple teeth and we consulted the dentist for eventual braces.

Starbucks!

On Thursday we had a playdate at the park, followed by a dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant with the Boyd girls.

The Noodle House

"Eggsperiment"!! For Easter, we did two egg experiments. The first one, not pictured, was about salt and flotation. The second is pictured below. We placed an egg in vinegar for 24 hours, changed the vinegar and checked back 24 hrs later. The egg was bigger; the shell translucent and it felt jiggly. Aymeric tried to slice it...he really thought it was solid inside. The egg popped!

On Friday, we worked on our Easter eggs and prepared packages for Brice and his family.

The kids were so busy playing and helping around that I don't think they watched TV for about 5 days!

I have plenty of pictures...some on my phone, some on Michael's phone so they will trickle in.

Easter Morning...better pictures to come!!

The weekend was busy too. Saturday, we went to Friend's church and took part in the Easter egg hunt. The kids played on the bouncy houses for a little bit. Zoe was only interested in eating plants and seed pods from trees gathered on the ground!
For lunch, we went to Leatherby's where the kids ate like PIGS!
We dyed more eggs!
On Sunday, today, the kids woke up super early (6:00 am) to look for their Easter Basket. They could not wait to go hunting for eggs. (Michael had placed them the night before all over the backyard). We asked them to wait for Zoe to wake up before starting the hunt!! Zoe did a great job filling her basket with eggs!
Later, we picked up Grandma and drove to Mike's house where the kids had yet another egg hunt to complete. Zoe enjoyed a chocolate muffins and several strawberries. She had a blast! She loved the dogs...but she gets scared when they bark.
Our evening was nice and quiet. The kids played outside. Zoe took a nap on me while I caught up on some recorded French TV shows.
I am not sure we are ready to go back to school but we don't really have a choice!!

Dino eggs!!
