Crazy Friday

I don't like Fridays...they're like a teaser, a preview of Saturday; not quite the end of the week but not quite the beginning of the weekend either! Anyway, this Friday did not start well! I so desperately wanted to sleep in but that did not happen. I have a human alarm clock who goes by the name of Aymeric.

Aymeric was excited and could not wait to start his day because Michael had told him he would take him fishing this morning. That did not happen! Aymeric was anxiously awaiting his fishing trip but it was rescheduled to a later time slot: after nap time! I, too, was anxiously awaiting the fishing trip: I was looking forward to some alone time to start working on my students' folders, gradebooks, forums etc...

Of course, no one wanted to take a nap and we had a nice little fight with Aymeric. He did go to bed but did not stay there very long!! Kilian ended up waking up early too...I was starting to wonder when I'd find the time to start 'work'!

Michael and Tonton Brice took the boys to Folsom Lake...lots of walking, little fishing, picking out rocks and shells...they loved it! They came home right on time for dinner except I was too busy to cook dinner and since we were all hungry, we ordered pizza! Michael made cookies and we watched the Bee movie.
