State Fair 2008

We had a great Saturday!! We took Tonton Brice to Mikuni so he could try GOOD sushi! The kids love Mikuni! It's Aymeric's favorite place to eat (he calls it Mukinu's though). Even Kilian ate sushi. He cried when he finished his deep fried shrimp! Aymeric was quiet the whole time, enjoying his meals, trying out sushi from Michael's plate and watching the Olympics on the flat screen TV.

After lunch, it was NAP time! It was a bit hard to put the boys to bed because they were anxiously awaiting Grandpa Jack! They did get to see him after waking up from nap; by then, they were all shy and barely talking to him. Grandpa Jack had brought some great books for the kids to look at. Aymeric really liked the book but would not say anything.

We packed up a bag, the stroller and piled up in the car. State Fair, here we come!

We met with Andrew and his daughter Shawna, who is going to be 6 tomorrow!! Happy Birthday Shawna!! The boys were all shy around the 'new girl' at first! But that did not last!! Kilian developed a major crush on Shawna. He was all over her...

We went on the monorail, checked out the pigs and the piglets, the 'rats, bats and cats' exhibit.
The kids enjoyed the highly unhealthy fair foods (corn dog, cotton candy, ice cream), the ambiance, the music and hanging out with Andrew's daughter!
