Crazy Boys!

The kids have some very strange ways to play! Saturday, they spent the whole morning jumping off the couch with a toy stethoscope around their waist: they were diving!

Last night, we opened a big cardboard box and they kept the box. Aymeric set the box in front of the TV and Kilian and him sat in their 'boat' to watch TV.

This morning Aymeric made a 'Cheetah House' (or a jaguar house, I can't remember now). He placed our play tunnel under the couch cover and then placed some books and his panther (stuffed animal) in there. He wanted to take his nap in it but Fripouille set up camp there!

Aymeric is having a great time at school. He plays a lot with Rebecca. He has learned lots of songs. He has started learning phonics (zoo phonics: Allie alligator, Baba Bear...), a few Spanish words etc...He is very happy with Miss MaryLou. Right now, his only interest outside of school is dinosaurs. He only talks and read about dinosaurs.

Kilian wants to do everything all by himself. He helps a lot. He puts his diapers in the trash. He empties the toys from the bathtub. He is always asking if he can help. Today he wanted to help me clean the bathrooms: he likes to spray the cleaners. And this evening, since it was nice out, I decided we should eat outside and Kilian cleaned the table and the chairs.

We took the kids to Folsom Zoo this morning. They liked the bears, the tigers, the wolves etc...They also really liked the train ride afterwards!! Kilian only likes the train when it goes slow and straight! If it turns or speeds up, he gets scared!
