Yesterday afternoon, shortly after Aymeric and Michael came back from the park, the sky turned really dark. At first we heard some thunder, then there was a flash of lightening and the thunder intensified. The kids got scared and we all had to sit on the couch, huddled...just in case!
It started raining. I was trying to distract the kids so they would not be so scared. I turned on the TV and we started watching Tarzan but the storm was so strong we lost the satellite signal and...no more TV!! That's when I realized it was not rain anymore but HAIL! So we all went on the porch to look at it. The kids stayed back at first. I scooped up some hail and then they just wanted to play with it and enjoyed watching it. The whole street was white, the roofs were covered, the backyard...everything turned white under a blanket of ice. It was pretty amazing!
Apple pie and pumpkin pie (pumpkin pie lost...Michael finished it!)
