Halloween: the slideshow

While Michael was at work yesterday, the kids and I got the house ready for Halloween and we (I, mainly) cooked all day!
Our day started early, as usual, around 6:30. We went to the Donut Spot for breakfast. Kilian was feeling sick and just sat on my lap moaning. Aymeric devoured his donut! We then hopped over to Winco. Kilian was getting worse. He complained of a stomach ache and I hurried through the aisles trying to get all the things I needed. I was picking up the last item when he said he felt like throwing up. We made it to the checkout stand just in time to grab a plastic bag! It was fun holding a plastic bad under his chin with one hand while bagging groceries with another. Of course, everyone around was grossed out! I went as fast as I could!
Back home, Kilian laid on the couch most of the time. I made cheesy potatoes in the crock pot, baked the 'red blood cake' (Aymeric's request), baked breadsticks etc...Then we dusted the house, cleaned all the rooms...the vacuum cleaner still scares Kilian!
Finally we set up a few games and waited for our guests.
Kilian could not wait for Keira and Jacob to get here. All day they were thinking of what to do or say once they would get here.
We played games, had dinner...played some more. Grandma and Chad stopped by, then we went trick or treating.
Our street has very few houses participating so we trekked over to Anne-Laure's street. Kilian was very tired and easily scared. He begged to go home so I took him home and left the others keep on going! They came home with buckets full of candy!! They had lots of fun, walked a lot and were ready for bed!
