Busy week

Well, the first week of vacation is over. It was pretty full!
On Monday, the boys went to Country Hill and had fun with their friends. In the afternoon, they swam in the pool and later Aymeric had gym class.

Zoe, patiently waiting for Aymeric's gym class to be over...

On Tuesday, Lilly-Marie and Trinity came over for lunch and a fun afternoon. We had not seen the girls in a while and wanted to make sure to see them before their trip to France (they're leaving today). The kids splashed in the pool and totally tore up the house!

On Wednesday, it was back to Country Hill for a fun morning (playground, circle time and father's day activities). The afternoon was..CRAFTS! We went to Michael's after Country Hill and picked up some crafts. The kids painted wooden alligator, snake etc....and dug out dinosaurs from an egg.

On Thursday Rebecca and her mom came over for lunch and pool time. It was a nice warm day and the pool was a hit!

Eating jello with Rebecca

No Jello for Zoe!

On Friday, we went to Almond park in the morning and then visited Angels In Action. The boys were happy to see their old friends- Juliette, Zoe and Junior. I let them play on the playground while I caught up with Miss Louise, Miss Noelle and Elizabeth. I picked up an enrollment packet for Zoe and visited the new baby room. Zoe should start daycare part time in August to get used to be away from me and transition to bottles. She will probably do two weeks part time (2 half days) and then go a full time once I get back to work.
We went on walk at night...Zoe fell asleep in the stroller and Aymeric dragged his feet the whole way because he was too 'tired': he is the one who asked to go on a walk!!

On Saturday, we went to the Farmers' Market and ran into Aymeric's school friend Paloma and her mom. We bought plenty of strawberries and cherries...the cherries are pure candy! We ate a whole bag in one day! No pool that day...too windy and not warm enough for the kids...instead they went to the park to ride their scooters.

Today it's Father's Day. The kids never got around to make their present...we had planned to make a stepping stone and decorate a t-shirt but never found the time to complete the task! So instead, we made Michael breakfast and then the boys left with him to go meet up with uncle Chad and go fishing.

Zoe loves her dangling toys...

She's really starting to bat at toys and control her hands somewhat...

Look at those cute jammies!...Even the soles of her feet are decorated!
