Summer vacations!

It's official Aymeric (and thus the rest of the family) is on vacation. Friday was his last day. He was supposed to go to Roseville Aquatic Center with the rest of the school for a fun swim day but I had to take Zoe to her two month check up at the same time. Grandma was going to take Aymeric but we ended up canceling the whole thing since Aymeric did not feel too happy about having to go to the pool with plenty of other people who would probably splash him in the face!!

So Friday, we just went to school for attendance and to say goodbye to friends. Then we took Zoe to her check up. She has grown and put on weight (23' and 10lbs). She is a healthy squirmy baby!
She got three shots (2 in one leg, the third shot in the other leg) and then she got a 'liquid vaccine'. She really liked the liquid one!

On Saturday, we went to the market to get our favorite strawberries! The kids did not want to go at first but once we got there they wanted to try everything! They snuck some cherries in the back of the car and ate them on our way back!
In the evening, Jeremy, Heather, Kiera and Jacob came over for a swim and dinner. The kids had lots of fun. Zoe was very fussy on the other hand! She has days like that where she'll cry on and off for hours until finally she falls asleep for good.
That evening, Aymeric lost his final loose tooth! So the tooth fairy paid us a visit during the night.

Sunday was mellow. It was hot. Zoe slept a lot (if she has a crabby day, usually the next day is really quiet!) . Then Michael went to the airport to pick up Curtis who is staying with us for a week. Kilian was all over Curtis. Poor Curtis! He won't be left alone!

Monday morning did not start very well. Zoe woke up at 5:00 am, the boys woke up too early too and were ill tempered from the start. They were standing there complaining they 'had nothing to do'. When school is going on, they have plenty to do and don't want to leave the house! I took them to Country Hill Montessori for a few hours. I did some grocery shopping with Zoe, came home and went through all of Aymeric's clothes. He is not going to be happy when he realizes that most of his 'favorite shirts' have been passed on to Kilian!

This afternoon Aymeric has gymnastics. He is not happy about it because he is T-I-R-E-D. I am not enthusiastic about it either because I have to drag Kilian and Zoe along now that Michael comes home later. Kilian can't stay put and Zoe cries the whole time we're there...so it's not fun anymore!

We have playdates scheduled throughout the week and we'll spend most of our time in the pool (once the sprinkler project is over...we have 'sprinkler construction going on right now and the kids won't go out while the 'guys' are there).
