Here we go again!

Well, the ear tubes gave us a month of respite. We are now back to square one! Zoe had a post op visit on Monday. Everything was fine, or at least her ears were fine. She has had a cold for over a month now and over the weekend, she started having some goop coming out of her eyes.
On Tuesday, I made another doctor appointment because of all the green stuff coming out of her eyes. The doctor said it probably was an eye infection.
That afternoon, daycare called me to let me know Zoe had a fever and was cranky and sleepy. Once home, she passed out by 5:30 and slept (in her clothes) until the next day.
I contacted the doctor to let him now her symptoms were worse.
Wednesday she was very lethargic and still had a fever.
We went back to Kaiser on Thursday and she was diagnosed with another ear infection.
We started another treatment. She spent the whole day in a feverish daze.

It's Friday night, 11:24 and she is screaming...we put her in bed about an hour ago and she woke up screaming and has been for the last 15 minutes. We already gave her pain medicine. Her ear is oozing that same green goop as her eyes and nose. It's pretty gross!!

I guess our only option for her to be healthier would be to pull her out of daycare. That's not really doable! Hopefully the coming Spring will make her all better...at least until next year!
