Spring!!

Spring is....NOT here!! We keep alternating between gorgeous weather and nasty rain storms. This weekend was very wet and windy! The news seemed to have nothing else to talk about!!
We lost power for a few minutes during the night and that was it (for us!). The pool overflowed last week.

When is Spring coming for real?? I need sun, warmth and a healthy baby girl!! She, once again, has an ear infection. We are going to Kaiser tomorrow morning but I already know she has one because of all the goop oozing out of her ear! She is a bit cranky and has a hard time sleeping. She is very congested and has a horrendous cough that interferes with her sleep.
She is very funny and entertaining when she feels good. She calls all of us 'Didi/DeeDee' and she's figured out food comes from the fridge! if she wants a bottle or is hungry, she'll go to the kitchen and bang on the fridge. She also let you know when she' s ready for bed. She grabs her blanket, goes to the bathroom door and bang on it, requesting her bath.

Aymeric and Kilian have enjoyed the rainy weather and have taken advantages of every single puddle they could find. They even went bike riding and scooter riding (is there such a thing?) in the massive puddle in our backyard!!

The boys, especially Aymeric, have been consumed by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. They spent an evening watching the news and made donations to Japan (through Michael's cellphone and a donation box in Aymeric's classroom). Now they are concerned about the radiation scare!!

Tomorrow, Aymeric will be planting trees with his school. All the kids are working on this project, planting fruit trees, flowers etc on campus. Aymeric should enjoy the gardening!
His teacher, Gerilyn, is on maternity leave for the rest of the year. Rhonda is filling in. Aymeric loves her because she likes science a lot!
Kilian has been accepted in Orangevale Open for next year. We got the letter yesterday.
Anne Laure's daughters are also transferring to O'vale Open. Keira, too, will start Kindergarten...maybe in Kilian's class. There will only be two K classes this year since the class size reduction has been repealed.

New pictures to come...
