Birthdays!!

What a weekend!! We celebrated three birthdays in three days!

On Friday, Kilian turned 5. We celebrated his birthday at Marsha's along with Uncles Chad and Brad, Aunt Liane and Dennis. Kilian enjoyed a meal of fried chicken and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we bypassed the traditional cake and opted for ice cream cupcakes.
The boys got to spend the night at grandma's.

Saturday was our day 'off'. It was gorgeous outside and warm too. After lunch, Michael took the boys to Folsom lake to ride their bikes and walk on the trails (and climb mountains according to Kilian). Zoe stayed with me...she was not in the best mood (she has another cold and has a stuffy nose). I walked to the library to get a book and she enjoyed the walk (not a cry!). Once we got back, I took her in the backyard. She liked it but would not get on the ground.

Sunday...our morning started with a party at Skyhigh. Garett, who goes to Country Hill Montessori, had invited Kilian to his fifth birthday. There were lots of kids from daycare. The kids jumped on trampoline, dove in foam pits etc...for over an hour! They had a pizza and cake lunch...with lots of water (from all that jumping). Kilian decided that next year, his birthday will be at Skyhigh.

We got home and had the kids rest a while. Aymeric watched the National Geographic channel (some shows on sharks) and Kilian did some drawings...Zoe tried to fall asleep several times...

Around 5:00, we went to grandma's house again. There was a 'sea of babies' as grandma called it which made the boys chuckled. Evan had invited some friends for his first birthday. There was Lexie (3 years old), GiGi (she'll be one tomorrow, 1/24), Joshua (8.5 months)...Zoe was eyeing all those kids, wondering who they were! The boys played with Lexie while the young ones did their own things (mainly eat and cry and at time play!).
We had another meal of pizza and cake and Zoe loves cake! She saw my plate and squealed! I think she is going to devour her birthday cake when it is her turn!!

I took a few pictures with my phone so they are not very good but at least I have some!
