Yesterday, the old wall with the sliding door and window came down. The old kitchen is definitely gone and the roof is non existent. Today, the side wall, where the toy cabinet was came down too. The work took longer than anticipated so the house is cut in two halves. There is the entry/ office/ kids rooms on one side and the TV and master bedroom on the other. We have to go through the front door and then the backyard or garage to access the back of the house. Kilian just goes through his window. I think we will have Zoé sleep with us tonight since we won't have quick access to her during the night. I would let all the kids sleep by the tv but the lack of roof and the chilly night temperature worry me a bit. The house is a huge mess. I feel like we are in a hoarder's house: boxes everywhere, no room, dust ( and I sweep and vacuum every day!) Cooking is a challenge. We are using the BBQ and I just plugged in the microwave. The pets are confused... And have limited access in and out.
Zoé keeps asking for her little friends to come over but we really cannot entertain company under those circumstances.
